Rockers

Hey I'm new here ! so I have 2004 GTO and I need some info on rockers my GTO only got 24k on it and i hear some Valve Train noise ,So i got some Rockers from Summit Racing 1.8 ratio should be here in a few days and im going to ck my push rods as well any input Please!!!!!!! I have seen the roller bearing coming apart on the stock rocker

I got some yella terras at KY Speed for $409.Is that the correct stock ratio? Most people just up grade with better bearing from harland sharp or compcam.consider getting a push rod checker,and you mite need better push rods if you are changing the ratio.Have you been to the GTO forum ?

Yes I have and thank you some realy good info there eg: like the extra mods with the set and mode button i own my car from new and i'm a GM Tech and never knew about it lol my car is still storage over the winter soon as i go up there to get it out i'm going to mess around with it again thank you very much

the ls motors are notorious for valve train noise,my 99 silverado sounds like a diesel when its cold,im still using the stock GM rockers,rev mine to 7800 in the GTO,its also alil loud,at idle when cold. dont think the noise is the rockers, rather think its the stock lifters,GM has upgraded those and they have gotten better.
