20 or 30 round clip for my ruger mini thirty?
I love my ruger mini 30 7.62 x 39, but the 5 round clip sucks, I want a bigger one, a 20 or 30 rounder. Anyone have any recomendations? I bought a 30 rounder on line and when it got here, it wouldnt feed about half the time. I tried bending the lips slightly and even sanding them, but it didnt work and I got pissed and threw the damn thing away. It was a cheapy any way ($18 or so). Anyway, then I read up on them and find that this gun is hard to find a good after market clip for. Anyone have any knowledge on the matter?

Ya, I've heard there are feed problems for high capacity clips on the mini 30. I think even the 20s are wearing out premature. 5s are reliable but not enough. Is there a 10 or 15 round clip anywhere?

The taper on the sides of the brass on the 7.62x39 is more pronounced than a 223 think of the curve on an ak47 30 or 40 round mag thats the problem.

The main problem going with 30 rounds, is its so damn long, that thing is literally gonna be a foot long.
my AR-15 is made for bench shooting, and 30's are too long, the gun will be resting on it, pointed at the ground.
