o im sure its one of the best but i really like AEM's new setup and have a buddy running it on his rear mount setup....
Pictures will be coming as parts are bought/come in.... nest on the list is piston rings, ls2 timing chain, ls7 lifters.... anything to get the bottom end together!!!

I told you guys this is going to be a slow process!!!
But, I just got my clevite rod and main bearings in, Total Seal piston rings that better be on their way, and ARP rod bolts...
I also ordered LS7 Lifters and LS2 Timing Chain.
Still looking for LS1 oil pan, windage tray, and pickup tube. But, I can get the windage tray and pick-up tube new for under $50, just trying to save some cash but the pan is almost a must, but dont want to spend $150+ on one!

I started a thread in another section but was wondering if you might be able to answer some of the questions I have in it since you are much further down this road then I am.
Here it is.

got some more done!!! Ended up replacing the Main Cap Bolts with new OEMs.... never realized how "fun" filing piston rings is... Got piston rings finished and installed into the block with properly stretched ARP bolts. Got ARP cam gear bolts installed and installed Melling high volume oil pump #10296...
Next on the list is to finish the long block....

How are you going to re-install the oil fill tube? I thought that thing was bonded to the rocker cover.

there is just a clip inside of it that you have to pry up alittle as you twist it out... so im going to take off my old one and twist the new one back on!!! :P

Wish I had known that when I polished my stock rocker covers. I was of the understanding that it can't be removed without breaking in. Got a pic of the clip and removal method?

I dont have a picture my self but i found this one on the internet.... you need to remove the cover to do this but there is a tab in there that you need to pry up alittle as you twist the filler neck out...
