My turbo ls2 build

Hey everyone my name is Josh and i am new to the site and would like to share my ls2 turbo build ..427 ci. I started with a bare block that i purchase from a co worker for a fair price,, decided to go with Darton sleeves for added bore size and strength .. This is my first ls2 build recently coming from the modular world and dodge which the v10s are very similar in design,, so input is welcome but please no bashing my parts cause ive made huge power on other builds with similiar parts,, Iam not rich nor do i wanna be so i got what i got lol.. I intend to replace the cheap parts with better parts if the racing pays off with possible sponsors.... Thanks, and i hope you guys, gals like it .Ive spent alot of man hours on it so far checking everything over and over ,clearancing ,,and learning as i go..

Manley 4.00 forged crank (24x reluctor),,pretty nice piece actually , fair price too,, very small amount of drilling for balancing ..

Very smooth.. (ARP mainstuds are on the way)

put my lifters in ,,ready to degree my cam...



installed double roller ls2 1x cam position





112 centerline just like the cam card ..(dot 2 dot)


Factory gm oil pump with porting..













Installed pick -up tube for my Canton aluminum oil pan and the oil pan rail needs to be modified because of the 3mm shims ,, maybe ill just clearance the oil pump instead of running the shims ? what do you guys think?

Had to notch the pan for the clearance of the pick-up tube (canton does not allow any clearance for double roller..)











Installed the DART heads and checked piston to valve..

Well i got the vale train worked out (thanks TREND) and made some motor mounts and installed the motor ,, i hope to have it running next week..
