rebuild kit for LS 3, LM7
hello all , i am rebuilding a 2004 ls3 (AKA LM7) to put in a 95 Camaro. looking at rebuild kits , is a flat top piston worth the money or should i stay with the dished piston top style that came stock ? i am going to be autocrossing it and plan also on a cam change. so also what cam do you guys recommend ? cheers !

Graceful Red Pearl- 1992 Mazda B series
If you're keeping it NA then the higher compression is nice. Hard to say if it's worth the money or not though, it may not be that noticeable at the end of the day.
I'd say go for it but I always get caught up with project creep. I look at fixing one thing and then say "oh well since I am in there..." then the project creeps into a huge ordeal!
