Just bought SFC's and LCA's
So i just bought UMI sfc's and lca's, 260 shipped
So my question's are A) when i weld the sfc's in, does the carpet need to be removed so it doesn't burn or is it usually okay? And B) do the squeaks and rattles dramatically reduce like im assuming? I live on a short gravel road, maybe 1/8 mile drive and i drive piss poor slow to avoid bumps and what not. It makes the car rattle and bugs the crap out of me.
The car sounds like a piece of shit going down the road so this will be the ultimate test. I didn't even get the sfc's for performance reasons, well a lil, but more to help with the rattles and creaks.

Yes remove the carpet before welding! Burning your carpet well make a bad day, catching carpet on fire and burning your car well ruin your summer.
Yes when I installed my SFCs it got rid of 99.9% of the squeaks and rattles.1998 Camaro SS Hard Coupe Bright Red #1593
