Why? So we can buzz our lips and shift gears playing race car driver?
I'll lay your gear shifting ass out...and while blowing your doors off be sipping the finest brews...you see Dip...A4 guys have learned....we can rest our left foot...have our arm around our favorite babealicious....and let our 3500 rpm stall take care of your ass

Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
Right there with my mileage. I got about 26.5 mpg going up to the Blowing Rock area and a little over 27 mpg going to Garden City/Myrtle Beach. That's an M6 with a few goodies, but I run 93 octane. Going to Asheville next Wednesday and will check it again.
Must be a Carolina thing!
Sarge, sometimes I do miss an auto, but changing gears is fun. It makes me all giddy!!! I'm not one to talk on a cell phone much, but I find that a little difficult with a six speed. Thought about getting one of those bluetooth ear pieces, but they are....well....... too (fill in the blank). I just keep my mouth shut and happily row through the gears.
