I will give you, Some may be slightly better than others though. That would be very few.

Republicans have a 49 vote lead in the house. I just don't see nearly enough anti-gunners in there to get anything passed. Even in the last two years with a Democrat controlled everything congress passed measures that allowed firearms in national parks, and in luggage on Amtrak. This is a very pro-gun congress, nothing is getting through.
But if your concerned by all means buy your high capacity magazines now.

I would also like to add that the ONLY reason democrats are introducing this bill is because they know the Republicans are not going to pass it. When the next shooting occurs they have a perfect scape goat being the Republicans. "See see, we tried to pass a high capacity mag ban but the Republicans said no....it's their fault." Now the Democrats are on their high horse and can pat themselves on the back. Good thing to run on for 2012 eh? It's all politics, they don't give a fuck about the guns.
