Yea. I thought about that but, to be honest I really don't know what kind of power I'm gonna be putting down. You guys would know better than I, as this is my first time building an LS1. And I don't want to get too much clutch and not have the power to justify it.

Oh, and just bought a LSx stand alone wiring book from F-Bodies Inc. Hopefully it will speed up my least favorite automotive task.

My update on this build is this.....This past Monday I planned to put the tranny back in and finish removing the rest of the bits from the engine bay......but, she had other plans. My wife and I welcomed our new baby girl into the world. So needless to say I didn't get a chance to work on the car.

Wow, congrats man!!!! My wife and I are expecting our first child in April. I'm sure you're gonna be pretty exhausted the next month or two, lol.

More like 6 or 7 months of exhaustion. Unless you are a lucky one whose child falls asleep through the night early. We were not that lucky.
Suspension: Lower control arms (Spohn), Drive shaft safety loop, Torque arm (Edlebrock), Strut tower brace, Panhard Bar (BMR)
Under the Hood: Smooth bellows, Lid, Catch can, LT Headers, ORY, AIR/EGR delete, Poly engine/transmission mounts,
Exterior: Painted brake calipers (Red), Halo “Spyder” Headlights w/matching parking/turn signals (Black)

Wow...yep the sacrifices we make. Fortunately the Porsche isn't going anywhere but, on pause for now.

Hey guys, a little update.....ordered my Comp rocker arm trunion kit today and got a little more of the engine bay cleared out in preparation for respray. Oh and removed the stock bearing and reunions from my rocker arms.
