New phones should turn off when you get in the car. It's just not the texting.

    Would never happen.

    1) Sheeple these days have been conditioned to be unable to function without their phone

    And more importantly,

    2) From the perspective of the corporations, the profit losses of calls/texts not being made while driving isn't worth the lives saved.

    Yup! "Manic Mechanic" from DeGuello.

An anecdote: I got to see ZZ Top back in 77 in Denver at McNichols Arena. They were backing up (along with The Outlaws) Blue Oyster Cult. BOC's drummer had cut his hand so both ZZ Top and The Outlaws both did extended sets. 15 minute jam version of La Grange was killer.

BOC stated that they'd be back to make up for it and all that wanted got a "rain check" for their later appearance. Needless to say I got a raincheck ticket and got to see them later that year for free.

I wholeheartedly disagree! I vehemently disagree!

That being said I have a home library of ~500 books that I accumulated prior to such things as a "home computer" or this new fangled "internet" (thanx Al).
