my girlfriends dads hemi dodge ran 14.9 @99 mph , not to bad for intake and exhaust,

Not a fan of the Hemi, IMO it does not create enough power to make up for the fact it burns so much fuel.

A few weeks ago at the track the two hemi's i saw were running high 16's, low 17's. The crewcab was in the high 17's, intake and exhaust must really do wonders for them.

just had my bother pull my camaro with a broken driveshaft home with his 03 2500 hemi, made me a little sad. I don't have anything against hemis but liked my 97 silverado with the v8 vortec better.

I am by far not a fan of dodge and never will be, but i kno my engines and most people dont realize that the so called "hemi" they put in the dodges today are infact not true hemi's. now if u guys wanna see a fast truck look at a gmc 2500 with the 454 vortech m5 or a ford lightning those trucks will haul major ass

we recently bought an 06 hemi quad cab 1500 4x4 and i think dodge finally got their act together with gas mileage. 2 words: cylinder deactivation.
the thing weighs 6600 lbs, so we obviously didnt buy it to go fast-- but it holds its own towing up long hills. way too quiet though... magnaflow helped solve that problem

I think the hemi is a overated do to the mass advertising dodge did with those two whitetrash guys saying "DOES THAT THING HAVE A HEMI'' on every truck commercial

Ive noticed that chevy dosent do that much advertising on TV and much as everybody else, It just seems that way to me I ALWAYS see those "bold" ford ones.

( i guess that my only tv channel being fox would make a difference)
