No real advantage in the front other than a small amount of weight. In the back more sidewall, a definite advantage. You'll need spacers in the front.

so you don't have to grind the fronts if you get spacers? I want to run 15X3.5 fronts. How thick of a spacer do I need? Where can you buy the spacers?

it will depend on the tire size. click the link in the original post. that's what 15 x 10 with 7.5" backspacing and 275/50-15 tires will look like. a 6.5" backspacing will push the tire outward 1".

Not really feeling the whole grinding thing. Thanks.
before you say that i have a set of 15x10s in the back of my 93, it did require a sawzall to the rear bump stops, but they fit other than that... along w/the spacers i have for them. I haven't changed the brake pads on it yet, but i'm fairly sure that i did have new pads on shortly before putting these wheels on

    15 x 4 with 1 3/4" backspacing. 165/80-15 or 165R15 tire. also, you'll need a 5/16" spacer to clear the front calipers.

    15" x 10" w/7.5" backspacing

it will require a large amount of grinding of the rear calipers to clear the wheel. here's pics of what i had to do to mine. scroll to the bottom.
    http://www.stealthram.com/wheels.htm

one thing to remember, if you do your grinding with half worn brake pads, when it comes time to replace them, the wheels may hit again. the thicker the brake pads, the further outward the caliper moves.

i encourage others to show what they put on and needed to do to get them to fit.
Are you running a drag slick on the back with the 15 X 10's?
    What size tire?
    Thanks for th info

    Sorry man.
I went back and reread the original post and see that you are running drag radials
Looks good but how well does it hook up

depends on the tire. last time out i had a 325/50-15 BFG drag radial. almost lifted the front off the ground.

what 15" racing wheel will fit

Will 10" wheels fit in the rear given the right backspacing?

What is the narrowest tire that can be put on a 10" wheel?

Anybody know max backspacing that will fit in the rear?

a 5x120 is the bolt pattern measured in millimeter, and a 5x4.75 is in inches i believe. might be wrong, its been known to happen

Bogarts will fit with no grinding or spacer but they cost some coin. Check out SJM Manufacturing.

so what is the latest options for 15s in the rear of a 2001 Camaro with stock brakes? have more rims come on the market that don't require grinding or is grinding the calipers the only choice without swapping brakes?
