Maybe you could look at it as extra room and towing capability.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
MPG and a touch slower will be the downfalls.
Towing, tons of space make up for it I think.
E-fans, intake tend to add about one mile per gallon. They really need a tune out of the box as well.
Otherwise, I love it. Same old GM issue though, put a tranny that can barely hold up to the stock power (4L70E).

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
Yea those were the sort of things I was suggesting. Now I just wish I could find the one I wanted at the right price.
Talked to a guy today who has a '06 silverstone, AWD, NAV / Rear Entertainment, 41,000 Miles, New tires, All Stock, but he wants $24,000. That seems high to me for an '06 based on what others are going for. I really want the NAV but that eliminates so many good options.

I wouldn't be scared of the Trail Blazer SS just because of gas mileage. That's something that could be improved with a few mods and a good tune.
Over 20 mpg is easily obtainable.
If one plopped in my lap and wanted to trade for my 72 blazer with a 6.0/4L60 swap, I'd be real tempted....

I had a 2004 CTS-V and loved it!!! I also loved my G35, 350Z, and I'm currently have a 2002 Z28. All fun, fast amazing vehicles, just nice to have a change of scenery once in awhile. Good luck choosing.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
Really just looking at something else. Absolutely nothing wrong with the car at all and that is why it's been so hard to let go of. I love it. http://www.ls1.com/forums/f38/2004-c...-cts-v-151044/
I am the same way. I always am looking for something different.

ok thats good to hear, cause i've always loved those cars, and now that i have a need for one, (my son n all his crap is getting alittle much for the Z on trips). i feel like it would be the perfect vehicle for me, im really in love the LSX and just cant buy sumthing without it. takes so well to mods) although my other option i keep thowing around in my head is a 04 RS6. with the twin turbo v8, lots of potential to make sum big numbers. plus there already awd, 6 piston giant brembos 450hp..... mmmmmm.... ahh maybe the next car

I'd love an audi but the maint. and fixing any issues is ridiculous. I'd love an 07-08 RS4.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
Well I ended up selling the V and bought a much cheaper DD. I figured this would be smart since I am graduating from college in May. I will be using the money left over to pay off a little more than half of my college loans. Anyways, the replacement car is an '03 Nissan Maxima SE. The car was a 1 owner (elderly lady) with 56,000 miles, leather, HIDs, sunroof, heated leather seats, heated steering wheel, BOSE stereo, no wrecks, and has the 3.5 liter that puts out 255 HP. I had an '05 Nissan Altima that is basically the exact same car just a little different body and a few years newer. In the end, I think it was the smart thing to do and I still ended up with a very nice car for a DD. This will probably make me appreciate my SS a little more.
