We just give the GT so little credit cause they suck, if you have a GT with cams, port polished heads all the bolt on you still only makeing around 300rwhp with all that work done, thats why we give them crap.

Im not hating on the mustangs, I just dont like the GTs. I would love to have a cobra or a mach 1. Hell even an old 60s stang. Im not a fan of the foxbodies I think they look ugly. But as for the 4 valve that they did for the Cobra/Mach1 but the GT was the dee dee dee of ford's creation

Thinking their ugly is one thing, saying they suck is just retarded. "Cams, port polish, and all the boltons" on a PI 4.6 sohc would send you to 400 in a heartbeat numbnuts. The dee dee dee of fords creation? Explain to me how they continuously outsold fbodies then. Obviously they did something right where GM had failed. They were cheaper, and not that much slower compared to an equally equiped fbody ls1. It really is sad that we still have people that ignorant. We're all on the same team here, hate on rice not your own blood.

Are you serious cams, port polish and full bolt ons on a GT will not put you 400+rwhp asshole. Theres no way if you think that then you really are just a dumbass. An ls1 with a cam and port polish with bolt on is makeing 400-440rwhp. How can you say there not that much slower they dont even make 300hp at the crank from factory, i see v6s from acura makeing more hp than the mustang GT. Just so you know my buddys 02 with full bolt ons ran a 13.8 my car doesnt even have all the bolt ons yet and i run 12.8-13.0 thats a big difference, 1 second in the quarter looks like bus lengths

Ok what show me a GT with bolt ons, port polished heads and cams that is making 400+rwhp. Not custom heads just a port and polish. 99+ GT 260 hp at the crank 300 torque, the ls1 is at 350hp at the crank, cars weigh almost the same, so a car with 90 more hp and 60 more torque is only a little faster. Maybe you just need to learn to drive your F-Body?

Oh wow yea ford did sell more GTs so that makes them better? I see a lot more toyota camrys out there so does that make them better then F-bodies too? I just dont like the GTs, I would never buy one, only stang I would buy is the old 60s fastbacks or a cobra or mach 1. Probably the mach1 over the cobra.
Take a GT slap a supercharger on it and put it up against a stock LS1 and tell me which car is faster

Correct, my friend ryan has a 94 gt with the 5.0 motor since they still had that in those years, its a full bolt on he just got his turbo setup on there atm hes only makeing 9psi and hes hardly making more hp than my car. I still take him by about 1 car last time we raced.

well i have seen an 05+ gt with a supercharger at the track, not sure if it had full bolt ons, (i'm sure he had some) and he ran like a 9.2 or something in the 1/8th, not to impressive
