Two mustang do battle
I have 2 freinds who both own mustang and always talk shit about eachothers cars but havent gotten to race yet cause everytime they start talking shit or even see eachother they are always both drunk as hell. So were all taking bets and I just wanted to know who to bet on. Car 1 is a 89 5.0 Gt with intake headers, bassani x pipe, 3.73 rear gears and sticky ass tires. Car 2 is a 95 GT with the 5.0 motor in it, new tires, headers, exhaust, intake manifold and intake and pullies this one pretty much has every bolt on. Now i know both drivers very well have raced both but i cant tell which one is faster because when i race them im like 10 cars ahead. The driver in the 5.0 is far better at launching keep that in mind. Thanks
Common Bob this is where i need you mustang knowledge lol.

You say they both have 5.0's then say "the driver in the 5.0 launches better." I assume you mean the 89? Anyway, are they stripped, or full weight? The only way to tell is to see them race. Don't take my word for it, but I'd say the 89.

Yeah my bad about the 5.0 thing, they are both full weight everyday driver cars.

I say the 89. It has better tires is lighter and probably makes around the same power as the other one.

I'd bet on the 89. Probably be a good race though....

I think the 89 will rip it off the line mainly because i know the kid in the 95 is slow off the line and the 89 has gears and tires. I think the 96 will pull him in a bit top end but i think the 89 will have enough from the start to win.

The fox body won, sorry i couldnt video tape it but my sister wouldnt let me use her camera, cause i was tapeing illegal acts, SHES A WHORE. Anyway it went like this of the line i guessed what would happen and the 89 pulled about 3 cars up until about 70 then the 96 started get gain and by about 110 the 89 was still in the lead by about 1 car or so. They decide to race down this road that was about 1/2 mile and stoped about 3/4 the way down the raod so it was more than a quarter mile, i would say the 89 in the quarter mile would have won by 2 cars. Mustangs are so cool sounding yet slow which makes for some of the most exciting loud yet slow races lol.
