needing ideas
I'm looking to find something other then that plastic tubing to hide the wires under my hood (not plug wires). Any ideas?

I'm aware of the wire hide mod. In fact, I'm in the process of doing that.I'm talking about all the others wires that are currently inside that crappy plastic tubing.

I've done the wire hide mod on both sides and only "wires left showing are the one's going to the coil packs, IAT, TBS, IAC, MAF and Drv's O2's.
Even them, you could hide with Fuel Rail covers. I may be selling my FRC's because I don't think it will fit/work with the FAST intake.

Coil Relocation Brackets would be worth looking into...they make the engine bay look 10000000000x better.
This gives you an idea of what it would look like with one of the relocation kits...most people either polish the valve covers or powder coat them once the relocation is done.

Would be interested in the FRC's. If you could, send off or post a picture of them. Basically, the wires off my MAF. They look rather shitty with that plastic tubing. There are a few others I would like to do, but those off the MAF....really need something better then plastic tubing
Not into doing the relocation of my coil packs. If I go with FRC's...no need to relocate the coil packs.

If I relocate the coil packs it will not be under the cowl. To damn tight to begin with and with a 102 intake even more so.
Here's a pic of when they were on the car. Still same color and the lettering is a decal that can be pealed off so you can re-color them to your choosing. They are also cut for a F-body and the "Corvette" lettering is filled in.
It's a shame to not be able to use them, I like them. I even had to sell my TS Brace.

2 cans of Duplacolor of your color choice, some sandpaper & 2 cans of Duplacolor Clear is all you need. Lightly sand the FRC'S to remove the clear and any ridges, wipe down with alcohol, Spray light coats untill you are satisfied, let dry over night then clear coat it. 2 light passes, 2 medium passes. Add decals if you want.

Perfect!!
Thanks Rick!!
Because I am very particular about the appearance. I'm more a mechanical guy rather then a body guy. Paint and finishing just isn't my thing.
Thanks for the detailed, step-by-step Scott ..I just don't trust myself to do all that.

Sweet and GOOD LUCK!! I also took a hobby paintbrush with some black paint to paint any wires or connectors that wasn't covered with braid (the ends) to help hide or at least not as noticeable!
