    What all do have too do for the smog pump removal on 1995 trans am

    Take the pump off, plug all the holes where it unplugged from, and have the code programmed out.

    so u do need to get it programmed out. I was told no programmed was needed for the 95 lt1

    It will still pop a CEL code because it is part of the ECM's program. You can still drive it.

    Are you talking about the air pump or the egr?

    Air pump you can just pull it, plug the side hole in the air lid and remove the fuse, for the egr you need to block off the exhaust tubes and intake. Not hard to do and takes less then an hour.

    Ok then yeah pull the system and plug the hole on the air lid. It shouldn't trip the cel, the egr does though.

    It can trip the SES light, although it doesn't happen to everyone.
