basic sts turbo kit
Im sure there`s been some talk about the sts rear mount on here and what not. And im considering doing it for a few reasons but i have a few specific questions for my application.
i have ls6 prc stg 2.5 heads with a tv2,bolt ons like long tube headers etc.
If i was to get this how would my car act? Would i need another cam? etc?
Plus what turbo comes with it? It says app specific???
i seen a gto video dyno`d huge numbers, but it was on a 67 trim which im sure doesnt come with it:[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oARLy37Qkw[/ame]
On a different note real quick, i have a ls6 and with this cam its nice as my dd but is a bitch for the first 5-10 mins of driving. If i was to stroke it to a 383, what size cam would it act like compared to a 346?( if you get what im saying) and what cam would act most like my cam now, in a 383?
thank you very much.Last edited by 1991ls13; 04-07-2011 at 07:54 PM.

As far as the sts kit on that Gto, it's sts piping with a different turbo if I'm not mistaken. That's actually my friend Rich's car. He runs Hoods Performance and is a dealer for sts. I'll have him hop on the forums when I see him (should be Saturday since he is having his annual cookout lol) and have him give you some more info about sts

He said if y'all have any questions about it, shoot him a call on his cell and he would be more than happy to help answer your questions. He can also give you more info about his car.

42-lb injectors seem awful small for a cam/heads car with a turbo on top of that.
Have you calculated your injector size needed based on your estimated HP?
