    Clutch will not disengauge

The T56 is in a Datsun 240 Z and have had no trouble for years. A couple of weeks ago I burned out in 1st gear went to shift to second and missed it. Since then I have had no clutch pedal . So I checked the fluid all good next I disconnected the quick coupler at the slave cylinder. The clutch is rock hard so I figure it's the slave cylinder and change it ,but the pedal still is soft ,I bleed it and fluid comes out.
Any suggestion would be a great help I don't want to pull the Tranny back out!!! Thanks in advance
