blue green chameleon- 1996 Trans Am
Thanks for the add. New to the group.
I have an 1996 trans am that has been sitting for a while (about 20+ years) that I am planning on bring back to life. It was a rebuild lt1 350, now 355 with 11.5 to 1 pistons. Ported polished heads and intake with a 1000cfm TB and a mid level cam. BBK headers, no cats and borla exhaust. Fast chip costume program. 411 gears, Hotchkis drop springs, trailing arms, Hurts shiftier and 125 shot of nos. This car was so much fun, at the time a little of a sleeper. Then it was in an accident and life kicked in so wasn't able to fix it at the time. It has moved from one garage to the other. It still starts and runs, but its time to clean off the dust and bring it back. I am sure there will be quite a few things I need to do that at this point will be unexpected. So any advise will be appreciated. I can already see its harder to find parts as LS motors have taken over.

blue green chameleon- 1996 Trans Am
Today I tried to get it running and found that I am having some fuel issue. Looks like the filter had dried out or clogged. Getting fuel in and nothing out. However years ago I wanted to add a fuel presser gauge but never did because I didn't want to hack into the fuel line. There was an after market line you could get at the time that had the fitting spliced in. All you had to do was replace the section of line. I have searched and had not luck finding anything now. As a matter of fact I haven't even found just the replacement line. Does anyone know where I can get something like that?
Thanks

You could rent one that goes on the schrader valve. Then you can check what pressure you have. Return when done.
