Red- 2000 Trans-Am WS-6
I need help to fit C-6 wheels on my 2000 WS-6
I just bought a full set of C6 wheels from a friend of mine who put aftermarket wheels on his vette and before i get them powdercoated i wanted to make sure they would fit. the 18s in the front seemed to fit fine but the 19x 10 (maybe 10.5) are too wide. i was wondering if anybody knew whether i should get adapters or spacers. and what size. i need to find out ASAP. thank you all in advance

I'm putting mine on tomorrow. I got 1 inch H&R spacers. could work with a 3/4 spacer, but I wanted spacers with the studs built into them. There's alot of people who use spacers to make the wheels work on our cars.

ya, most 1 inch spacers do. I'd suggest them over the washer-style ones that just slide on, especially since you'd need longer studs. You'll need to use a sawz-all or a dremel tool to cut the studs down a 1/4 inch. I used a sawzall with great success, no sparks or anything flying around. Make sure you don't cheap out on the spacers too, seeing as you'll most likely be driving fast. I dropped $180 on some H&R's. They fit precisely and I feel safe with them.

you could also use the bfh way to fit too. but spacers are good too.

I did find an issue with using the BFH. I pulled my carpet and the paint is peeling off the wheel wells were I massaged them in with the BFH. I need to paint them now. So if you do the BFH you should plan on pulling the carpet up and doing a bit of painting when your done.
