Thanks - what I thought, but wanted to make sure I wasn't miss'in anything.
I wanted to make sure you weren't talking about where it's recirculating the partially gas, oil etc...and spraying into that port.
Sarge - Ya know I just thought of something - We use to pour water into the carb to break off the carbon build up. How can that be done today? It's been along time since I dicked around with engines.Last edited by The Silver Goat; 11-11-2008 at 01:14 AM.

Hey Sarge, quick question...I've been checking out some different TC W3 synthetics & I've come across regular TC W3 oil and TC W3 "racing" oil....same manufacturer on both. I figured it'd be best to go with the regular synthetic over the "racing" synthetic, but I wanted to get your .02 first! Which one and why? Thanks!

Racing oil has a ton of add -packs that will add no value to what we are doing. TC W3 is ashless and that is the most important thing we arre after.

So, you're saying that the TC W3 racing oil is basically the same as the TC W3 oil, but just has additional add -packs in it that are of no additional benefit for this application? Thanks for the help, Sarge!

Hey Sarge I have been looking for 2 stroke synthetic everywhere. Walmart, target, my local car parts stores, and even the local dirtbike shops, speedy lube etc and no one has the synthetic stuff. Finally found someplace that sells these tiny ass 16oz bottles and it was 12 bucks no where near the 10 bucks a galon you posted. Is there somewhere online because the way it looks I would be spending over 50 bucks for a gallon of the synthetic stuff if I managed to find a marine shop. Help please I am running out of this stuff fast.
P.S the stuff I found was redline 2 stroke for marine applications says it's better than tcw3 rating whatever.

Sebring Silver Metalic- 2002 Camaro Z28
I bought the Super Tech gallon jug from Wally World, for like 11 or 12 bucks. Sarge said all you want is the TC-W3 stuff. I don't recall any requirement for synthetic. If that is the case you are right on the price, way up in the 20 buck range.
I haven't noticed an increase in MPGs like some are reporting, but.... I have noticed my AVG speed is up 5-10 MPH on the highway. I used to be a strict 65 even when the posted was 70. Now I am flowing with traffic. My last tank earned me an avg of 20.34 or so MPGs. Not bad for an old A4 zipping down the highway at 2000-2300 RPMs. Even driving at 65 I'm like 1800-1900 or so. I know this is all about cleaning and not MPGs, so I don't feel bad. My first tank I got 19.5 MPGs, but I was running like the devil, lol...
