GMHTP got 302hp and 311 tq with a stock 04 6spd GTO

looking at the list, how about ignition mods like, Iridium plugs, Granatelli wires and coils like the MSD? That should add atleast another 10hp-15hp.

The test I saw was actually done on a modified 97 Corvette, with MSD coils, NGK IX plugs and Granatelli wires. So, although the coils might not be necesary on a bolt on car, they are still a bolt on.
Anyone else have any experience seeing a hp gain with a hotter ignition?

now that goes with some of the manuf. advts. when they say that plugs and wires add 15 hp. its true. but on there crazy big hp motor, best tune, and etc. just like a lid does 25 hp, filter 10 hp, and exhaust 25, but that doesnt mean that you get 60 total hp. that is there best the manf. ever got plus a lil strectiong.

i wish there was a dyno near me so i could see what my bolt ons have done and se what im putting down and get that tune

well if upgraded ignition gives you more power i guess ill be getting plugs wires and coils next, im on a quest to get as much power as i can froma true bolt on car, i think i can get 400 rwhp. but well see some day

according to that list i should already have 400 rwhp, the minium for all the mods i have should be 374 and the max is 428, havnet dynoed it yet so i really dont know

Yes....some are as low as 290'ish...some are around 330'ish....dont ask me why...but we have seen stock GTO's running 30-40RWHP difference bone stock.

w/ stock size 1.7 ratio about how much power could be gained if any?
I'm thinking it's also a precaution because you never know when the GM bearings will fall out and ruin the motor right?
