it definaetly sounds healthy dont get me wrong, but i am a traditionalist, especially when it comes to my love which is camaros, i personally like rasp, but i do agree that exhaust sounds good, im sure many will love it,
brandon if im not wrong you also have lt's and ory? this probably should be noted when posting up the link

Yes, you are correct! I do have longtubes and a off-road y-pipe.
With my setup, it is very hard to come across an exhaust system that is loud and aggressive but does not have drone and has minimal rasp. This new cat-back has a little of both! Also, keep in mind that this muffler is a straight through design.
On the highway, there is almost no drone. But drop a gear or two, and innocent bystanders, beware!

i guess you did find the perfect cat back then, not too much rasp, a little is good, and not to much drone, imo if it aint a little loud it aint a muscle car, i may have to pick me up one of these, i figure with pacesetter lts and ory it will sound a little of both, its hard to pick up the rasp at idle you mostly hear it a decel and i do hear it on your sound clip.
looks like if this is reasonable i may buy one rather than a gmmg

I looked at the link and noticed a few people had issues but yours looks perfect. I wish I didnt buy the catback I bought now I really wish I could find a rear piece like this but instead of centermount exhaust hole have a cut out for exhaust tip kinda like the ws6 has but for camaros. That way I could use my catback with it. Do you know of any?
*** also- did the CME tips come with that catback?
I love how from the side of the car no exhaust pipes are visable.+ it looks so sweet from the rear.

i installed my CME myself too and the valance was a pain in the ass. but i got it on and i love it. for the record i love the black valance and the rear "BERGER" panel. if you were to keep it black i dont think it would be too bad. looks real good, and sounds good too.

Read my posts. My screen name is 9T8Z28 also on LS1tech.com
A heat gun was reuired for mine to have a perfect fit!
You do not need a special cat-back to install the CME tips and valence. All you need is the tips and 2 90 degree bends. Its a real simple design but a real PITA (sometimes) to get to fit right!

Sunset Orange Metallic- 1999 Camaro SS
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but do you have to install the valence first before it's painted? I just got a valence and tips should be coming soon.
