Stereo + Windows Stop Working Randomly Ctd..

Hey Guys! My first post on here, glad to see so many of you on here.

My radio, and windows stop working randomly, sometimes while driving, other times not working as soon as I get in the car. My BCM has been replaced by a licensed Tech just yesterday when I was having multiple issues with the car including ASR and ABS being inoperative. $800 later, The new BCM fixed the ASR and ABS. According to the above posted thread, a new BCM should have fixed the radio problem too. No luck there

. Is the BCM all one unit or is there a separate part in there that controls the windows and radio that I need to fix as well?

It's definitely not a fuse or wiring and not having working windows or a radio REALLY stinks. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sounds like maybe an issue with the BCM.

I was mistaken, the ECBM was replaced, not the BCM. I was able to pull out the BCM from under the glove box, and open it up and found a bad solder joint. I re soldered it and it works like a charm!

I have been having this same problem for a while in my SS. When I go over a bump in the road it would sometimes cut out and then come back on with another bump. Sometimes it does this multiple times within a real short time, other times it doesn't do it at all. I have been meaning to check into it, but wouldn't think for a long time about since I haven't driven this car regularly as a daily driver in a couple of years. Now that I have started driving it more again, it has my attention.

Mine likely is the same problem; I'll check it out soon since I know what to look for thanks to your nice pics. Saves me a bunch of 'troubleshooting' time. Thanks again.
