my ws6 progress so far

well im primed up and ready to paint it, hopefully do it later today after it cools down, this is going on my 94 lt1. I f-ing love the 98+ws6 look. All in all cost about 1400 but i got back about 900 so far selling the parts ive taken off and i still have the old bumper and hood to sell. so far its cost me about 500 bucks to do the conversion.
im painting on some blackbird stripes and some drivers side fender stripes, they are painted silver.

So you're converting a 94 T/A to the 98-02 style WS6 T/A?? Cool, I didn't know that was even possible.

yeah its actually pretty easy, the frame is still the same you just have to get new brackets, impact bar and foam, then the 98+ body parts just bolt right on

thought id post up some new pics, ive got the front end on, and ive done a layer of paint but i have to blend it into the doors. And ive started on my high rise hatch, it was pewter. Im painting the spoiler seperate but i put it back on for the pics.

yeah i have some 17 x9.5 zr1's that i got for cheap so those will go on when im done, but i think im just going to tint the rear taillights.

well so far im having trouble getting the ws6 hood and bumper to fit properly, the fenders are lined up but their is about a 1/4 in gap between the hood and bumper and the hood and drivers side fender, im still working on adjusting it.

thought id post up some updated pics, ive got it about 98% lined up, its almost perfect, the front of the hood just needs to come down a little bit, and the headlight covers need to be tweeked slightly. i hope that next weekend ill get to shoot some paint on it.

Lookin' good!! I think you should keep the tail lights as they are. I guess I'm in the minority who think the 93-97 looks better than the 98-02 ones. Keep up the good work
