QWKGTO, or others with similar experience, was that huge gain in trap speed attributable to the shift extension? I imagine you have an FI setup, and I have an SS3600 going in this spring and was hoping the shift extension would keep the D1 up in the boost a bit more to take advantage of the area under the curve in higher rpms.

I'm not expecting to pick up 11mph, that's incredible, but even half of that would be a great improvement.

explain shift extention? do you mean raising the shift RPM?if so I did not,the YANK is just a superior made converter, thus not allowing the car to loose top end power...aka no slipping .

Shift extension, meaning the 'dead spots' at the bottom of each gear are avoided because the higher stall keeps you up in the powerband more. I didn't mean that the actual shift points were higher, but rather that after shifting the next gear is up higher in RPMs compared to the stock converter. Sorry if that was confusing.

With the ProCharger, I have a very linear HP curve since boost is RPM dependent, so if I'm up in the powerband more, I'm not losing as much boost into the next gear. Regardless, your post has me excited. There's no doubt the 60' will be much better, but I'm equally excited about picking up some top end.

    Nice car, by the way.

Revmax 3200 Stage 5 TC. Works great so far. Alomst 1000 miles on it now since install.
Went right in no probs, spacing was right on, no shimes needed for install. I put new ARP bolts in it, the flexplate was ok so i didnt replace it yet, and of course a tranny cooler is in there. Still gotta wire in the new trans temp guage. No leaks and hardly any difference in driving minus when cold, then it requires a little more gas then normal. Lockups fine on the autobahn Cant wait to see how it does on the 1/4 mile. Stock one got me 14.1 at 100mph with no other mods other then a lid and muffler.
