    Technically speaking your hp will increase by 1% for every 10 degrees cooler you can have the intake charge due to the denser air mix therefore a WS6 will have a slight advantage hence GM's marketing of "ram-air"! Anyway ram air on any car is cool no pun intended!!!

    Correct English would be, "How much DOES a ram air hood cost?" because a hood is singular, not plural.

    Look them up online: slponline.com has them for $823.95

    Correct English would be PLURAL.....since PURAL does not apply here

    If you remove the 2 baffles in the ram air hood are we not worried about water when it rains the water can directly enter the hood and directly into the filter and air lid box? No worries

    i've heard several testimonials where water only becomes a problem during heavy downpoors at highway speeds.

    WATER = DAMAGE

    Any time theres water cant be good, you would think even light rain some water would enter intake, after removing baffles its a stright through design.

    Your in Vegas and worried about rain. Just drive something else the 3 days a year in rains. I took mine out a few week after buying the car. You can sure hear the differance.

    That's why I made some clear acrylic rainshields (incase of being caught in a heavy downpour). They attach in 10 seconds and you don't even have to open the hood. You can see what they look like through the link in my sig below. Regular driving in normal rain will never get past the filter.

    Hood debaffled and sealed to a Volant CAI, with both filters openly exposed 1 per nostril. I drive all year round in Philly, rain snow everything....NEVER a problem
