10 years of waiting and

Hello everyone, kept this car in mothballs for 11 long years!
After an overnight rainstorm, cold start the car shook me side to side so hard I hit my head on the door glass and silence. For 11 years I have stored this car with plans and dreams my 8 year old convinced me that now is the time?can?t post pics for some reason. I?m on my phone, kids took over the computer, but after removing the passenger side exhaust manifold I found the #6 rod is sticking out of the side of the ! Do I need to say more. Now what.? This site is not phone friendly, anyway, only had liability insurance cause I didn?t drive it much.

Time to look for a LQ4 or 9 or if desperate a 5.3. Look for a pre04 block otherwise you'll need to do a lot of work to make it work with your ecm and harness. You need those yrs because after 04 they went from 24x to 58x reluctor shell on the crank. it's what gives the crank position.
