    Question on Temperature issue

    I have 2002 trans am rebuilt LS1
Ever since before we rebuilt it and bought it used it had a flickering oil pressure sensor.
So engine was rebuilt now after it hit 220 and random times the temperture will drop by 100 degree.
I have replaced sensor twice and today air bleed anti- freeze by raising front end and radiator cap off.
    Did get some air out.
Now while car was idling I would slightly pull on temperature sensor and car died.
Was able to restart each time no problem.

So the question do you think it is the alternator wiring causing all this issue?
Is the oil pressure reading through same harness??
Can this cause the weird temp drop on coolant?

Current waiting for temp on car to drop to check out

    Thanks for any ideas

    Question on Temperature issue

I would check harness, look for broken or burnt wires, following that get a new temp sensor and replace see if it continues.

    2002 trans am

So we order a replacement connector and wires that came from GM. I spliced solder in and this has fixed the issue.
