Coolant pouring out oil drain plug

Hey there. I just bought my first Z28 a few weeks ago and 2 weeks in. The oil pump starts to fail. So I changed it and the timing chain while I was in there. But after putting her back together. I find coolant pouring out the oil drain plug. I mean within 20 seconds from radiator to oil pan. Steady stream. Please what have I messed up and could I have cracked the block. Thank you so much.

Only way I can see that happening is you have a massive head gasket leak or the block cracked along the cooland passage. I favor the former over the latter. Coolant mixed in with oil will thin it out and drop pressure.


Do you have any coolant in the radiator? yes - what color? black, foamy? = big sign of head gasket leak.

you can do a pressure leak down test to help confirm.
