    Shifter Button - A4

It is but a minor annoyance, but on marginal roads the thumb button on our shift handle likes to rattle. My only thought is to maybe install a bit heavier spring in the handle. Any ideas?

Do you have the leather wrapped T handle shifter? I'm not even sure how you would remove the button to get to the spring?. However if you don't have the leather handle, changing your current handle over to the leather might solve the problem since the leather covering gives a bit of padding around the hole where the button protrudes. I've got a nice ebony spare if you are interested.
