Nope. Failquest. He billed out the right parts, but pulled two of the exact same thing, and completely wrong parts
Advance in Elmira had just what I needed. We'll get refunded tomorrow afternoon.

we thought that but seems not to be. They gave her some stuff that if it was she'd been ok within 30 mins from drinking it.
Nothing on x-ray or ultra sound, lab tests show negative for appendix at this time. Otherwise no infection showing up, yet.

Parents' RAV4 is coming over for service this evening. Still pissed that I had to drop $25 on a special oil filter wrench for it.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Somebody made a thread in Camaro6 asking what happened to Strano and why they didn't have parts available yet for the 2016-17 Camaros. Innocent enough thread until BMR chimes in with some sarcastic remarks. I don't think either side will ever let go of the past. I at least let them know how stupid it was to carry on that ancient feud over to yet another forum....

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
I don't remember everything, but I know there have been threads here and especially in Tech, where Sam and BMR get into straight up gun fights over the internet. I do remember back in the day BMR did a 're-design' on their springs that came out suspiciously similar to his, and he lost it. I believe he quit sponsoring here over some of the squabbles. I also remember Sam stating they were butthurt over him choosing to sell UMI over their products as well, and BMR going so far as to have domains called umiparts dot com that end up taking you to BMR, and umisucksdick dot com etc. just to troll.
If you search BMR vs Strano on either forum you'll see some history of bad blood.
Here is the Camaro6 thread...
Surprised Strano isn't doing much for these cars - CAMARO6
Edit: Here is one of the more 'fun' Tech threads if you get bored and feel like reading drama...

Crappy rainy evening. Bought some new tires for a hand me down yard trailer that I may go fight with.

Had a burst of energy. Removed the wheels, dismounted the tires, ran the rims through the parts washer and blast cabinet and now have them primed. I'll finish them up tomorrow. Was going to simply paint them matte black but may end up shooting them white or gray.

Mornin. Gotta find the manuals to the riding mower. Hit a root and bent the left blade. Apparently the mount for all that broke since its just cast aluminum

I need to service our lawn equipment. Also have to dig out the manuals to figure out the filter part numbers and recommended oil. Hoping I don't have to replace any blades, but our mower up at the building takes a beating. The front axle is about to give out - stupid Troy-Bilt (MTD variant) sheet metal POS. Hoping I can find a used replacement as the engine is still running strong and it out mows my newer Husqvarna when the grass gets high. Bought the Troy-Bilt back in '99 so it has some miles on it.

Just went and got some diesel so I can mow again. Hate it.

So this dude I know just put his Z06 into a tree... him and his passenger are in critical condition. Just to preface this... He is 20 years old, foreign exchange student, and was one of the worst drivers I have ever been involved with. Still sad...
Be smart out there guys. It only takes a second to make a life altering mistake.Last edited by konigandy6; 05-28-2017 at 07:20 AM.
