worked on truck today getting it ready for va beach trip Friday. Fluids and filters. I'd like to meet the guy that decided to put the fuel filter tucked up in the engine bay so it's a huge pain in the ass to change. I'd punch him right in the balls. I hate doing that damn filter. I end up pulling the fender liner every time.......after 15-20 minutes of thinking this time I can get it without pulling it.

I've never been annoyed with them. Though I'm a man and just drop the fender liner from the get go. Takes 20 minutes tops

Or the guy that puts the battery where you have to remove the whole fender to replace it.

Can anyone tell me where the hell my door switch(the one that pops out to cut off the radio and interior lights) is?

I still haven't found it but I did find the answer to what started me asking. I need to come off the BCM to make what I'm doing work.



I hit a major milestone tonight. For the 1st time in 12 yrs I was able to walk 3/4 of a mile without pain in my legs. It may seem small but the last time I was able to walk this far was prior to my accident.

Been working like crazy on the '40 every night. Flushed the cooling system and swapped out the thermostat and hoses, installed the new temperature gauge and fan controller, and then replaced the fuel filter and started swapping out the hoses on the fuel system. Last night, I noticed that the new lower radiator hose had folded over on itself. Not a chance in hell that I'll make it to the cruise in tonight with it.

I am going to have to take my best shot at guessing on a molded hose and maybe bring 3 or 4 home at a time until I get this right.
