Not a bad little rig I would go nitto's for tire i have them on my truck quiet and good road manners with a aggressive enough tread to get you through stuff and if you were to do any wheeling I would look into some kind of rear traction bar or link bar something looks like they are pron to wheel hop.

Nice truck.... as far as truck tires I have always liked the performance and durability of BFG all terrain not loud either.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
Nice H3. I like the way they look without the roof rack crossbars and without the tube steps. They look clean and offroad ready!
The H3 is a better offroader then the H2(IMHO) and in some cases the H1/Humvees.
And for anyone else considering one, there is a LS-based V8 version called the Alpha H3 and truck version called the H3T (also available as a V8 Alpha)

Absolutely. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM. I worked at a Hummer dealership before they went under.

Thanks man, I know I will have questions too..
Soon as I can get the wife out of it long enough..lol
I plan to detail it this weekend (hopefully) and get under it and really
get a good look @ it.. I looked it over pretty good @ the dealer but
it's is'nt the same for me as having it in my shop..
Plus I was dressed nice and did'nt go over board.
But the underside is as clean as the body and I did get my hands dirty grabbing and trying to "wiggle" things..lmao

Best of luck to you achieving the 18mph hwy... One of the biggest complaints with the Colorado's we got.

More than just one doing that in the video and there are plenty more where that came from lol..
I would'nt even try that stuff with mine..lol
Actually we're getting closer to 20 mpg hwy..
Colorado's don't come with a VVT I5 either..
Bro has an 07 Colorado and it's nothing like my 08 Hummer I assure you..
I also don't know of any Colorado's that are full time 4-wheel drive..Last edited by Smittro; 06-09-2011 at 10:43 AM.

Don't get me wrong guys I understand it's "based" on the Colorado.
But getting under it the only thing I see the same is the frame..
