01's and mach's are basically equivalent, they do just fine w/o one.

ehh, i used to run those with my bolt on LT1... I wouldnt say theyre equivalent with LS1s at all.

To the OP, Just race em already. I love to race in races like this when you are expected to loose because if you loose, so what, but if you win its that much greater. Ive got a race lined up with a 2011 GT with a catback and eveyone is just so sure Ima get stomped. I cant wait to see and hear what they will be saying after I beat em

The 03/04 Cobra's (all what 20,000 or so,ford made), they were not made to fight T/A's and Maro's. they were made for the car and sales of the cars. The new 5.0has plenty of N/A power. about 30 HP more than the 4.6 s/charged ones did.

well we finally did it lets just say i dont need no spray i just need some real sticky tires. we took off from 30mph he jumped me on the start by a half a car i started burnin 1st, shifted into second and i thought i was gonna lose it i was so sideways thats when he pulled on me a full car so at this point hes a one and a half on me once i hooked up he stayed right there i started to catch him towards the end. it was a good race it would of been better if i could get the power to stick to the ground.

nice race! you could always change the control arms and the add relocation brackets and a panhard bar as well, mine used to spin all the way through 3rd gear untill i did some rear suspension work, still spins through most of second but it hooks way better then it used to.

Im new to this site but i was going to say with your mods and an m6 against his mods and an auto that it should be a pretty close race. Im sure on a good day and switching drivers the pontiac would be in front a few times.
