Even with E85 an intercooler will still be a big help

I've been on the debating part of running E85 once I have the 408 done. But when that happens I will also be going to FM turbo setup.

My personal experience and preference I always reccomend some sort of cooler whether its meth of FMIC. As far as fab goes for installing an FMIC its all up to the installer on how hard he makes the install but overall its rather easy if you have a sawzaw(?), sockets, etc

    Cheap piping

Another good one is CXRACING ebay intercoolers
I have 2 of those kits one with intercooler, rubber couplings and charge pipes, and the other is just charge pipes, couplings and clamps..

The kits are pretty good but I would recommend getting better clamps.

Other than that the kit is good quality..

Key is to run as little couplers and clamps as possible,, less chance for charge pipe separation i think ,, i have 5 total 10 t bolt clamps ,but properly mounting an intercooler and piping is an art for sure.. camaro is not famous for its engine bay room lol

i went with this one myself
EMUSA 31"x11"x3" 2.75 in/out. bar and plate(they were out of 3" in/out plus im running 2.5" piping so whatever lol)

i plan on running meth as well. nothing too fancy. starting small with just a pressure switched version. dont really need progressive yet lol

I had a question on the charge piping... is it better to run a hoop over the axle, or a straight silicon hose in that little section around the axle?
