oh ok, yea I remember hearing something along the lines of if you have a retinal detachment then it cannot be fixed period.

After x number of hours if you don't get it fixed, it's gone forever.

Mine went on for months without me getting help (Didn't know it was detaching though either) Lucky for me it was going very very slowly. Didn't lose any vision in that eye Its never been the same though either

Makes sense I guess how bad it has detached determines the outcome, I just happend to hear this when I was in iraq. But the guy had both of them detached and we couldnt get him to biap fast enough to get them fixed and lost his vision forever.
