Yes, its generally accepted knowledge around here that the LS1 was underrated in the F-bodies and makes about 350 HP at the crankshaft.

I figured it was underrated, but not that much underrated. I figured Car Craft had just gotten an above average of the curve model. So I guess it stands to reason that my '02 WS-6 6m could really put out 320-ish rwhp. That would be a good start.

With an air lid, filter, LTs and exhaust I put down 330rwhp & 342rwtq on a Mustang Dyno....and that was through a 9" rear end which is about 10% less efficient than the stock 10 bolt. I would have Dyno'd even higher on a DynoJet.

Is a mustang dyno any different than a regular dyno? I guess the question should be what is the difference between the mustang dyno and the dynojet

I believe mustang dyno add resistence where as dynojet the only resistence you have is the weight of the rollers

Correct. The Mustang chassis dyno uses an inertia load as well as an eddy-current brake load whereas a Dynojet only uses an inertia load.

The Mustang Dyno is a better representation of actual HP seen...example..HP on the street while driving.
