It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Well depending on how many "road pops" you consume you may not even make it there! lol

That's a shame, just got rid of a freshly rebuilt 4l60e 2 weeks ago.

I finally got the car back together this weekend and took it for a test drive!
Turned real tight to the right and Very wide to the left. The right tie rod was maxed out so I had to cut, strech and sleeve it, but its fixed now.
Still running very rich right now but I logged my drive into work this morning and going to make some adjustments before my trip home to get her closer to where she needs to be. This thing is a beast already even running pig rich

I finished the bodywork on the hood, got it back in primer and on the car.

Still need to pop the bumpers back on and finish tuning, then strip and prime a panel here and there till its ready to paint

I tried... 6 times, then took it to a local trans shop lol. I learned I can't fix automatic transmissions...but now from the time I pull the car into the garage I can have the transmission laying on the floor beside it in 35 minutes lol

Lol well as bulletproff as possible... I think the only stock parts left are the case and output shaft. Built to hold over 700hp.
Now the driveshaft and rear are my weak points...if I break them then I'll upgrade them too lol

I'd love to take those off your hands, but I'm just about broke again lol

I drove the car to work and did some logging monday morning then alittle tuning today and tried to get some better logs on my way home from work...I couldn't cover alot of the cells for the A/F ratio errors because everytime I'd get half throttle and the thing would break loose its a beast

Im sure ,traction is a big issue this time of year, when ive driven mine in colder weather about 6 psi is where the fun factor stops,no way will it hook that power.

That has to a real bummer to spin at half throttle LOL, I would bet it won't hook till you get to 80 to 100 mph when you get it dialed in, any more pics? Great build and BTW I could not cut on mine, just some bolt on's and only 29000 miles.

I've been driving the goat to and from work over the last few days and doing alittle tuning when I can. Hoping to do a couple of mountain runs this weekend to finish the tuning up.
The manual brakes take more pedal effort but feel and work great.
The biggest change was going to the manual rack lol 4 turns lock to lock is A LOT different than 2 3/4 turn lock to lock. The steering definately is stiffer, but gives so much more road feel and better response than the power unit edver did.
The torque from the new motor is down right amazing
