Thanks. I was lucky to have it already on the car when I bought it because I was planning on putting it on whatever camaro I got.

A few people have them but I have always like the machined face Z06 or Y2K wheels with black inserts...or the chrome Y2K wheels with a lip. These are all inexpensive wheels that go with the car nicely that not a lot of people have.
Fikse, HRE, and CCW are all good ways to turn as well!

Oh yeah Iforged too plus many others I'm sure I am forgetting....
I made a thread on a local board of all my wheels. Ill post them up real quick for ya. I have a set of chrome ZR1s (11" rears) also that I put 100 miles on and sold the tires. I still have the wheels and have been trying to sell them.

If you are daily driving your car, I would HIGHLY recommend against driving daily on any of the high end wheels mentioned above. Do like you said and have a second set of DD wheels. Polished wheels are as high maint. as it gets, and if you had them stolen or hit a pothole and bent one of those high $$$ wheels, you will be miserable

Definite problems. Post up what you have gone through as well, lol.
stock
bought in 2004 with 13k miles, chrome stock snowflakes ftw
18" polished wheels went on after I sold my 2000 Z28 (formerly 2thousandZ lol)
18" machined face Z06 (one of my favorites)
Poor dudes drag setup with machined face wheels up front
wanted 11" rear wheels with 315s so I went with black ZR1s
got tired of the all black and found a great deal on bogarts (came in handy at the track too)

really liked the gray center torque thrust 2 wheels on the GMMG Blackbird cars so I did those for a while
Now I have CCW Classics and Chrome ZR1s. The only wheel I have left pretty much is the wheel I should have bought in the first place...the Fikse FM5.

You've gone through a lot of wheels. I've only gone though my current Z06's and a set of black ZR1's. Those machine faced Z06's looked awesome. Also, Y2KP, I'll take you advice on that and just get a second set of non-DD rims

I have been through 4 sets of wheels on this Camaro, if memory serves correctly. The last set I intended to keep, 18" chrome Z06s, just for the reasons I described above. I have since sold them since I don't drive my car nearly as much but it would definitely be wise on your part to have a "beater" set of wheels.
