Quick pics of my ALL black 2000 SS Camaro
Well, pretty much done with the exterior besides lowering. I did this first because the paint was old and terrible and so were the wheels. So i just redid the whole outside, EVERYTHING. It got color changed (it was nbm). We took everything off. The bumpers, hood, fenders, doors (gutted them and painted the inside), hatch, all the glass out, everything short of the motor, for painting. Stripped off the old tint, new front bumper and fender. New headlights, taillights, corner lights, all nightshaded. New grill. New windshield. New t-tops. New wheels and tires. FULL hids (highs, lows, fogs) at 8000k. The whole 9 yards
Sorry about the bad pics, they were with my blackberry, I can take better ones.
And here it is in its home with the gfs mustang, and yes the camaro is faster, DUH
Other than that its stock so far But not for long
It actually just got tinted as well(or again), but dont have pics of that yet, went with 5% all the way around and 30% on the windshield.
Going in very soon is strano springs, koni 4/4s, watts link, umi 3 point sfcs, yank ss4000, big trans cooler, 3.90 gears, 1 7/8" hookers, dmh cutout, ls6 intake (for now) and all the other bolt on goodies.
Eventually it will be MUCH faster. But, all in good time
Whatcha think so far?Last edited by totalkos; 09-08-2009 at 11:43 PM.

Owning a 9 sec ricer is like coming out of the closest: at first you'll surprise everyone, but in the end you're still gay

Looks good. What are the tint laws there because 5% all the way around and 30% on the windshield won't fly here....Maybe I can register my car in your state?

Suprisingly i dont have a retarded amount in it yet. lots of guys have way more. Doing what ive done here i have about 7k in it. Luckily i know some painters and i am a known 'deal seeker' haha.. took me about 6-8 months of saving and work
Laws here are 40% on the front windows and 20% on the rest.
I havent got pulled over for my tint or taillights yet. In all actuality, i got pulled over lots more before the car looked like this. I dont know how either. But it will work. I went a little dark on my nightshade on my tails (everything else is perfect). So i have to redo that soon. Im afraid of getting rear ended when its sunny they are so dark.

They are cheapo OE wheels. They are the c6 z06 'deep dish' (not really) style. 18x10.5 all the way around. They came black with a machine lip that i have painted satin black. 295s up front and 315s rear, spacers and arp studs.
Each pair of tires(2) was more than all 4 of the wheels shipped. I want CCWs but couldn't justify it at this time, nor did i want to save for that long. So i got the OE wheels instead. And they honestly, are not a quality wheel. They are OK at best. But they will work for now.
The car also has a satin grill and satin ss badges to match the lip on the wheels, to break it up a little. haha.
I know I know. I knew i would catch greef for this. haha. The nbm just wasnt my thing. And i tried to sell it. Nobody wanted it. So i figured if i was stuck with it. I might as well turn it into what i wanted and keep it for life. So yes, maybe its not a more rare color anymore, but now i will own it for life.
