Red- 2000 SS '89 IROC-Z
Heavy pieces of shit. My IROC kicked the shit out of one a couple times. A guy I worked with had one and thought it was the shit because it was supercharged.

I have a 1995 t-bird v8 and I really like it comfort wise. There are not many majors issues that I can think of off hand except for just looking for rust. I think the electronic suspension on the Super Coups crap out after a while. Unfortunately if its seen salty roads they usually start to rust on the bottem of the quarter panel in front of the rear wheel from the inside out, under the ground effects on the super coupes so it might be hard to tell. They handle pretty good for a big car, it has fully independent suspension all around and SLA type suspension up front.
Super Coupes got stiffer sway bars, electronically adjustable shocks via a switch in the car, stiffer springs, bigger axles, handbrake, pretty sure there all 4 wheel disc, cant think of much more lol.
I would check out these sites:
http://www.tccoa.com/
http://www.sccoa.com/
I'm on Tccoa quite a bit and that's prob the more popular one, but anything SC specific sccoa is better.

well i drove this car last night, and it was a freaking blast. havent experienced anything quite like it yet. but i did notice it needs abs work, and that elcectronic suspension is dead already due to some lowering springs on the car. other than those little things i liked the car alot. but i have no clue about those so i just wanted to know what people thought of them, whetehr they liked them or didnt like them

i not trying to rain on your parade, but a sc is not a car i would buy with any intention of modding.a beautiful car yes but i would buy a v8 96 or 97 thunderbird for a dd.i have extensive knowledge of a sc,i am a former ford technician and my best friend had a 91 sc 5-speed that he modded extensively the car had a smaller pulley, supercharger from a 95 sc(supposed to be better blower, idk )headers from a 98 3.8 mustang(also supposed to be better than stock)complete performance exhaust,3.73 gears, and more stuff i can't recall.i cannot tell you how many times the sc broke down, but i was a lot!!!maybe he had a bad one or just bad luck, but i wouldn't buy a sc for any amount of money.was fun when it was running correctly, but that was rare,my buddy figured he dumped about 10 grand in that car over a period of 3 years.my .02 cents.

They're fun cars, but if you start modding then and/or beating on them, they break.......often.

I'd like to drop an SCed 5.0 in one of those...or maybe a Lightning motor...or an 04 Cobra motor.
