I would not mind trying this out on dino day. In some pictures I love how it looks compared to the normal. If I could find one used for cheap Ide probably snag her up.

RED- 2002 FORMULA
Wow, timing of this thread. Ok, I started out with the stock lid, then I went with the K&N version. When I press the gas, I can hear the air sucking in also. Me and my wife always joke about it, so its pretty loud. 3 months ago went with the SLP lid. Felt a definite loss of HP, no doubt about it. Also noticed longer 0 - 60 and seemed to drag. Yesterday went out and pulled lid of and went back with CAI. Like night and day. I imagine Volant would be same way. I dont need speed, I only drive on weekends, but car seems to run better with plenty of freash air.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
I have an SLP lid, and did not notice anything over stock, just like the way it cleans up the engine bay. Would love to try the volant (or check yours Badass2000SS).

I was just kidding, I threaten everybody! I got rid of those pink filters and actually have red ones now. I also painted the FMU black. I could not stand that blue crap under my hood! Just waiting on my FRC's to come in and I will take some new pics. Maybe with the new look you wont be mad at me everytime I post an engine bay pic!

Here's all my reviews on the volant... and a video in there somewhere...

since making those reviews... i still fill pretty much the same way towards it nearly a year later. But I will say I did notice a gain in throttle response over my old lid setup, and the butt dyno felt a little stronger as well. Since making all the mods to the volant, it fits much much better now.
