    I have had...well, I can't tell you HOW many Challenger R/T guys "woof" me, rev me, etc. and NONE of them have been in a situation where I could have run them...I can't WAIT till I get the chance to finally spank one of these faggots. They are worse than the local V6 Fbody and mustang guys.

    I have a 2002 M6 trans am with lid and muffler and I ran a challenger r/t auto from a dig and from a roll. When we went from a dig we only went to 60 mph but by that time my back bumper was at his front bumper (I also spun on the take off). We then had to slow for traffic, but then lined up again and did a 50-110 run. As soon we started, I was walking away from him no problem and when I let off around 110, I was easily 2-3 cars ahead of him. I would think that the SRT-8 would pretty much be a drivers race.

    +1 SRT8 is a drivers race, I watched my buddy run one in a 02 SS basically stock, lid, catback

    Mopars are kind of like plus size women, they can look pretty and get the job done, but in the end they are still to damn heavy.

    If he doesn't know the gearing, factors like heat soak, ESP off/fully off and stuff like that, you'll win.

    Hilarious statement with 109-110mph stock trap speed SRT-8s and Furman trapping 130mph in his bone stock ACR.

    So do SRT-8s and will pull an LS1 at triple digits.

    Dogs only if they can't hook. Otherwise 1.9 60fts are standard.

Hard to get those 20's to hook so a street race could be another story.
    For a stock one to run 12.7s "all day" he would need low 1.9 60fts, cool downs and a negative DA with no headwind. And his trap speeds would have to be 110mph.

    No Edmunds ran a 13.6 @ 105mph and attributed the .5 better ET vs. the 300C SRT-8 to the hood scoop. They don't know cars, at all. Car & Driver has very good drivers and they tend to be spot-on for non-drag prepped, non-powershifted cars in good conditions.

    Uh huh. I like how guys with mods beat SRT-8s but stock they tend to lose.

    ^ You also stated in another thread about how good Toyotas are. Here is the order JD Power has these three motors rated.

    Chevy 5.7 9.8 PPH
    Ford 4.6 13.1 PPH
    Toyota 5.7 15.6 PPH

    PPH = Problems per hundred

    GM won engine of the year with the LS1 and has now gotten their plants running at a exceptional rate by changing the way engine blocks are made. Cross threading in a plant is a main reason for errors. GM was the first to get down to 99.9% with 0 PPM

    PPM = Problems per million.

    I have the article but no scanner. Just thought everyone should know this little tid bit of info when considering vehicles. And the PPH/PPM also goes for GM's 4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0

    Food for thought.

    i guess when they put 13.8@ 103 they meant to put 13.6 @ 105.

    It's Edmunds. They think .5 improvement in ET comes from a non-ram air hood scoop. It's a moot point what the video vs. what they publish says...

    stating that srt8's are running 12.x's bone stock with no proof at all is also a moot point.
