    '02 Trans Am WS-6, 6M

    Need to find a steering column!!!!

    Hey guys. My shop did the work on the steering column bolts, tightened them as much as they could and used locktite to hold them in place but it still has way too much play. Some of the housing parts are worn out. So I need to get my hand on a good column.

    My local scrap yards have nothing.

    Do any of you have access to or know a source that would have a good shape/lowish mileage, manual transmission, with on wheel radio controls and tilt column for a 98-2002?

    I know you're not close to me, but I'd check American Camaro & Firebird out of OKC (very reputable salvage yard). I believe they will ship, but you'd have to call to verify.

    The guy at the shop believes that they are about 100 bux to high on cost but I do have them on my radar.
