2009 Lotus Elise I4S 1/4?

Im very interested and I cant find any info on the new supercharged elise... 220hp and 1700lbs... i know its not a drag car, but anyone know what it can do in a 1/4 with that kinda power/weight? all i can find are 0-60s and track times/corning data since thats what its made for.

ive been looking online and you can get the older ones pretty cheap now and they are only like 2100lbs... anyone make super/turbo kits? with taht kinda weight and a toyota motor, i dont see why these things cant freakin rocketships.

They are little rocketships, look pretty cool too (for a small car). Would make a really fun trackable car, but a miserable daily driver (lol). Definitely a toy to play with vs practicality. I still think they are pretty cool though.

they run mid - low 13's... and they can out handle a ferrari...

I saw a Lotus Espirit last week, going through Atlanta. It must've been the first time I've seen one outside Europe

dunno but a guy at work keeps talking about getting one for a weekend racer. (he is big into auto x)

I saw a Lotus Esprit V8 here ONCE. Thing sounded meaner than all hell. There are a lot of plain 'ol Lotus Elises around, one really really nice dark red/maroon one and a few others.

0-60 in 2.7 sec, 0-100 in 6.8, Supercharged 2.0L ecotec, 300hp/250tq, 6spd trans, and only weighs 1005 pounds. Yeah, its gotta be fast, right?

^^Those are track cars.

The Elise "can out handle a ferrari" on a short/tight/small AutoX course but I own them on a road course (blow by them on the straights at the very least)

They are easily made street legal and many are sold that way.

lol ud be pulled over doin 55.01 in a 55 in one of those fuckers HA also, we have rain and snow and ice in jersey, potholes that could swallow a greyhound bus, and insurance companies that literally have a "right to own your soul if u die" clause at the bottom of thier $6,000 a year contracts. lol thatd never fly

it does 0-60 in 4 flat but they don't have a 1/4 time for it but it does 0-100 in 9.9 for whatever that is worth, but it also cost $65,000! i think i'd spend alittle more and get a z06 IMO, but i still like the little guy. oh and I love the atom to

this is the European model so its got a honda motor, but it makes the same power as the ecotec you can get over here.

Yeah. I figured the guy lived around atlanta, and I would probably see more if I drove through the city more often.
