Rear Mount Turbo
Has any one tried this I was looking at this as a way to get boost with out major engine conpartment mods. any input would help

my buddy has a STS from TRT performance and added a cam, springs, and rods and yesterday he made 503rwhp and 510rwtq on 5.5 psi

if so arent TRT running 7-8PSI on many cars making well into the 500 range

I made 475 rwhp on the stock motor at 8 psi, intercooled. You will need fuel upgrades. FWIW, Billy at TRT is awesome, good guy to do business with.
2002 Camaro SS-STS kit, LME built 370, h/c, and a bunch of other stuff
5psi-456 rwhp 498 rwtq ran out of fuel!!

yes he is running a custom fmic. thats all the boost they needed to bust 500to the wheels. turbo, header, underdrive, walbro 255, 42#injectors, and cam....plus a trt tune

I have seen a couple of cars with similar #'s with the package listed above. Although, I would go with 60# injectors for those power levels. When I had my 42's, I was running 8 psi on the stock motor, and they were in the 90%+ range at 475 rwhp. Originally Posted by FORD RECOVERY EXPERT
