anyone done the hella 60mm swap for headlights?

im in the process of putting in HID's and am going with the hella 60mm housings. im doing high's and low's (i think just low's looks goofy) i already got everything except the mounting brackets (my dads making them, ill be damned if i pay 120 dollars for a couple of pieces of metal) anyway i took out the old assembly so he can get his measurements and was holding the high about where it would be mounted and it sticks out so far im worried the the headlight isnt gonna shut. has anyone had this problem where the projector doesnt clear the front bumper when they close the headlamps?

A member fabbed brackets out of plastic for his. But he mounted the projectors to the plastic. You might need to recess the lenses a little to clear the bumper.

The setup I have is actually gonna work without too much modification, got lucky ! Thanks for the reply
