    rough ride

sorry to bother you people again with my novice problems but here it goes...

basically long story short and a new driveshaft later my birdie cant handle bumps at all and i think i might know why this is but im not entirely certain. any bump i go over may it be a speed bump of the smallest proportions or the numerous potholes that riddle the roads around here they just feel and sound like they are tearing her up. its like she doesnt bounce with the bump if that makes sense

now im pretty sure this may be due to suspension but what part or if its just the entirety of it i dont know...any recommendations on how how should approach this problem would be greatly appreciated

or you could have something loose/broken. ball joints, tie rods, stab links, control arm bushings, etc. just have to get under there and shake everything down

does it rattle when you go over rr tracks?
has your car ever been lowered?

i asked the same about the same problem a couple months ago in the suspension section and strano (a sponsor) said it was the shocks too. I haven't had the money to replace mine yet to tell you if it was right but my ride is extrememly rough and nothing is broken.

    thanks for the replies guys...

ya im pretty sure the car is lowered here is a pic for verification

not to sure about the rr tracks dont have many of those around here it just feels like the bottom of the car hits the ground every time it goes over a bump

and if it were to be the shocks is there any shock set-up that works particularly well?

Ya it's the shocks usually. Mine are finally starting to go. Your car looks stock height. that's the way mine sits. As far as shocks I'm going to go with KYB AGX. I had KYB's in my other car and it rode well and handled good. There not too expensive. Alot of people like the koni's but I'm not into paying 800plus for shock's. I can buy some Strano springs and some KYB AGX's for like 700 or so.

Yep... Sounds like shocks to me. I went with the KYB AGX. Under 400 for all 4 and medium difficulty to install. Just be carefull with the spring compressors.
